Benji and Blue

Can anyone offer these two lovely dogs a new home ?

Benji and Blue were both rescued when young and have lived all their lives together but their owner can no longer exercise them . As a result , Benji - a six years old Retriever - has succumbed to a bad case of middle-aged spread , with Blue - a six and a half year old cross breed - not too far behind .

Both are very friendly and playful ; they love everyone including children and cats .

Blue , unfortunately , is deaf , although he does appear to hear some sounds . He responds to simple hand signals but does rely to some extent on Benji's guidance .

Both walk well on the lead. Off lead , Blue stays very close but Benji does need training in recall . A home with a fair sized garden where they can run and play would be ideal for them . We would consider splitting these dogs up if the right homes can be found.

Benji and Blue are fully vaccinated and neutered.
