Doggy Tails 2
Barry
Barry was one of four puppies who were found abandoned, at the beginning of the year, and looked after by one of our foster carers . Look at him now!
His new owners are so pleased with him:
'Barry was very scared at first but then settled in with us really well. He is very lively, happy and always up to mischief like all pups. He has come on loads since we first got him. He has grown a lot and has a lovely healthy, shiny coat.
He loves to go for long walks and rarely tires out. He also loves cuddling up on the sofa and relaxing with us.
At the RSPCA dog show this year, Barry won 2nd place for the best rescued dog and 4th for the most unusual cross beed. He is a great dog and lovely companion.'
He loves nothing better than playing with his ball!
This is Barry when he first came to live with us.

Duke
We have recently had an update of how Duke, featured on 'Doggy Tails 4', is getting on:
'Dukes back legs are gradually going on him. We have had to shorten the length of his walks and increase his painkillers but he is still an old rascal and gets up to all sorts of mischief!'
Jaffa
We were all so pleased when Jaffa found a new home. She had been very well loved by her previous owner who unfortunately was taken ill and couldn't care for her any more.
Coming into Kennels must have been difficult for Jaffa but she was always quiet, gentle and very well mannered.
After just a few weeks the perfect new owners came along and recently sent these pictures and news of how she is settling in.
'Jaffa is settling in well. She was a little quiet for the first two days. However now she's playing with toys, has got her own favourite chair to sleep on and is happy to be with our older dog Lady.
She is enjoying the walks, getting to know the area and making friends with the regulars we meet whilst out walking. Folks are falling in love with her!'
