Doggy Tails - 5

Duke

We thought we would never find a new home for Duke. He is elderly with rather creaky back legs and a reputation for being aggressive and unsociable.

His new owners thought he deserved a comfortable last few years and decided they would give him a chance and take him home to meet their other three dogs.

He loved his new home and friends immediately. He was bathed and groomed (never attempted before without sedation) and has had a new lease of life. He now loves to play and go for walks in the dunes.

Duke adores his new owners. It is heart warming to see what a happy and affectionate dog he has become.

Fizz

Fizz spent 5 years in our Northside Kennels. Despite always being a quiet and affectionate dog, digestive troubles made her difficult to rehome.

She always adored our maintenance volunteer and he felt the same way! Worrying about her future he decided adoption was the only solution.

As you can see she is now living in luxury. In her kennel Fizz has her own TV, sofa and of course under seating heating!

Always on the go Fizz helps on the construction site, loves to walk on the beach and thoroughly enjoyed her trip on the La'l Ratty.

With regular small meals Fizz is gradually putting on weight and is now a fit, healthy and very happy dog.
